Where does a New York Times best selling author go the day after her new book The Blessed is released? Central High School of course! Tonya Hurley, author of the acclaimed ghostgirl trilogy, was the guest at an "Author's Chat" where she spoke about her life as an author, finding inspiration, and the publishing process. Tonya's first book, Ghostgirl is the October pick for book club. We will meet Thursday October 4th in the IMC during CAP to discuss the book.

Our book for January was The Maze Runner by James Dashner.






Book 2 and 3 of the series are available in the IMC.
Book 2 is The Scorch Trials.

Book 3 is The Death Cure.
Most people don't know the official name of the series is The Kill Order!

Hunger Games Trailer!!

The Hunger Games trailer is out and it looks fantastic!!
I was a little skeptical of the adaptation, but this is helping convince me. The actors definitely look older than they are supposed to be in the books, Katniss does not look anywhere near 16, but it despite that it looks great!
